Tax Agency Registration and Error Resolution

This site contains drop-down menus with instructions about how to register for each tax agency when required by the state:

• Paid family and medical leave (PFML)
• State withholding
• State unemployment insurance (SUI)

All employers are required to register and provide Paychex with agency ID numbers.

Taxpay® Clients Only

As part of your Paychex Taxpay^® service, we work with you to resolve filing errors with state tax agencies. There may also be a drop-down menu labeled Error Resolution. This section contains instructions about how you can resolve errors so we can file returns on your behalf.
